We’re the co-founders of Beads and Beverages, and our journey began at Spelman College.
 

We met as undergrads and reconnected years later at a wine event hosted by one of our classmates at Theopolis Vineyards in Napa Valley. From that moment, the friendship—and the business ideas—never stopped flowing.

 

Over the years, we’ve both built thriving careers. But deep down, we always knew we wanted to create something new, exciting, and meaningful. Entrepreneurship was never far from our minds.

 

Then, during a vacation with our husbands, we joined a seaside bead-making activity in Jamaica. It was a moment of pure joy—creative, connected, and completely refreshing.

 

That simple experience sparked an idea:

What if we created a space where people could come together, unwind, and craft something meaningful—surrounded by good music, fun games, great conversation, and their favorite drinks?

 

With our combined business experience, we mapped out a plan, tapped into our network, and brought the idea to life.

 

And just like that, Beads&Bevs™ was born, a fresh, social twist on creative gatherings.
